We weave through narrow streets of the Old Quarter before arriving at a fascinating local joint located mere centimeters away from the railroad tracks, where we sample some infused rice wine and a snack. The next stop is gastronomical heaven as we taste the quintessential dish of Hanoi, before making our way along West Lake to taste another local specialty and learn art of wrap ‘n’ roll, Vietnamese style! The night ends at a Jazz Club next to the Hanoi Opera House. A live band will wow you with a truly unique blend of styles, 1930’s jazz fused with traditional Vietnamese music! Desc: Halong Bay is well-known as one of the seven natural wonders of the world. The Bay, located in northern Vietnam, is home to thousands of limestone islands and islets of various shapes that rise from the turquoise sea. Take a full-day cruise around the magnificent Halong Bay and among the thousands of islands that jut out of the sea with its spectacular natural environment. Visiting the floating village, grottoes, kayaking, swimming, and enjoying a sumptuous seafood lunch while onboard would be an ideal option for those with a limited schedule but who would like to explore this stunning area. Itinerary* • 8:45am – 9:30am: Depart from the hotel for Tuan Chau Island, Halong City. Stop for a rest along the way. • 12pm: Arrival at Tuan Chau Harbor, welcome aboard, and safety briefing. The cruise will take you on an over 5 hour journey via 2 day-sleeper boat cruise route that is renowned for its striking, passages uninhabited islets and outcrops have been given imaginative names by the locals, due to their perceived shapes, such as Cock Fighting and Thumb, while enjoying Vietnamese mouth-watering lunch on boat. • 1:45pm: Arrival at the Bo Hon archipelago and visit Surprising Cave to see a large number of stalagmites and stalactites with various shapes of sea life, and then go kayaking or bamboo boating (optional, not included) in Luon Cave to discover the beautiful lagoon. Our guide picks us up at the hotel to take part in Hanoi City Tour, firstly visit Ho Chi Minh’s mausoleum (outside view on Monday and Friday/Fine Art Museum as an alternative), his house on stilt, the botanical garden, and the Presidential palace while learning about his life and revolutionary activities.On the way out visit One Pillar pagoda. The pagoda was constructed in 1049 by King Ly Thai Tong according to his dream of Bodhisattva seating on a lotus flower which led him to the pagoda and Temple of Literature. Then, we will have lunch at a local restaurant.After that, visit Hoan Kiem Lake (Restored Sword lake) with Ngoc Son temple and Ethnology Museum. Then take the 1-hour cyclo tour around the Old quarter through its streets which are named after the guilds that used to represent such as Hang Bac (Silver Street), Hang Gai (Silk Street), Hang Tre (Bamboo Street), etc.Return to the hotel and finish an unforgettable full day of Hanoi Sightseeing!
