Activity #1 Walk with a Viking - Small group Tour
Desc: Our Reykjavik walking tour is your introduction to Reykjavik. It will help you get your bearings and make the most of your stay in Iceland. We recommend it as your first stop in Reykjavik (well, maybe check into your accommodation and drop your bags off first). Our family-friendly tour brings the history of Iceland to life with exciting stories and Icelandic mythology. We’ll visit all of the famous landmarks in the city centre, such as Harpa Concert Hall, Reykjavik Harbour, Hallgrímskirkja Church (we’ll teach you how to pronounce that), Reykjavik Pond, and the Parliament building. But, we’ll also share hidden, local spots with you like a visit to an Elf home; things you’d miss if you didn’t know what to look for. We want you to feel the unique, friendly atmosphere of our quirky little city, not just to see the most popular tourist attractions. We’ll even have a small lesson on the Icelandic language so you can not only walk with a Viking but talk like one too. We’ll be showing you our favourite places to eat, drink and visit (we also have an intimate knowledge of happy hour deals that we’re happy to share).

Activity #3 Northern Lights Mystery
Desc: Far from the glow of the city lights, we hunt for the elusive Aurora Borealis – known as the Northern Lights by bus. Together we will search for these magnificent auroras. On a clear night, we may be lucky enough to see the lights swirling in a wild and carefree dance across the sky in dramatic shapes, colours, patterns and sizes. If we are lucky, let the lights take your breath away as we watch in a trance like daze. Feel inspired by the wonderful occurrence taking place before you. This is all down to excellent weather and timing, so fingers crossed, it is definitely worth the try for these views!Possible amendments: The Northern Lights are visible from late August to April but can only be seen on a clear night. Therefore, we reserve the right to cancel this tour if the evening sky is heavily clouded or weather conditions are not favourable. A decision is taken at the latest at 5pm daily about whether the tour will take place or not. All hotels and booking agents in Reykjavik are informed by email about our decision so please contact the front desk of your hotel or the local supplier to find out whether we will be operating the tour. Before we start this tour we always check the weather forecast around the south western part of Iceland. From experience, we decide where each journey will lead us, for the best possibilities to see the Northern Lights. Please note that the Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon and sightings cannot be guaranteed. If no northern lights are seen during your tour, you can rebook your trip for another night for free.Languages English.
